Karl August Sigismund Philipp Anton von Fallois (born September 9, 1803 in Ansbach , † December 11, 1877 in Erfurt ) was a Prussian lieutenant general .

Life

origin

Karl August was a member of the Fallois family, originally from Lorraine . His parents were Major General Josef Thomas von Fallois (1766-1835) and Baron Marie Jeanette von Mardefeld (1764-1846) from Mecklenburg . His older brother Friedrich von Fallois (1801–1867) was also a Prussian lieutenant general.

Career

Fallois began his career in 1817 as a cadet in Berlin and was then portepee in 1821 - ensign in the 2nd Guards Regiment on foot . In the same year he was ibid.
