Katalin Gennburg (born March 5, 1984 in Weißenfels ) is a German politician and elected member of the Berlin House of Representatives ( Die Linke ).

biography

Katalin Gennburg studied at the Technical University of Berlin with degrees as Bachelor in Culture & Technology (2010) and Master in Historical Urbanism (2014). She has a daughter.

Party and politics

From 2007 to 2008, Gennburg was the spokeswoman for the Left Youth Solid and held various party offices, including a member of the party executive. She was elected directly to the House of Representatives in the election for the Berlin House of Representatives in the constituency of Treptow-Köpenick 1 in 2016. Gennburg is a member of the federal executive committee of the party Die Linke .

Positions

Gennburg sees squatting as a legitimate means of obtaining housing.
