Marika Tändler-Walenta (* 1984 ) is a German Diploma sociologist and politician of the party Die Linke .

Life

TÄNDER-WALENTA passed her Abitur examination at the grammar school in Dresden in 2005. Between 2006 and 2011 she studied sociology at the University of Leipzig and graduated with a diploma. She then worked for Lothar Bisky (MEP) as a parliamentary research assistant until 2013 and, after his death, for Martina Michels (MEP) in the European Parliament. Between 2014 and 2016 Marika Tellers-Walenta was the parliamentary advisor to the parliamentary group leader of the Saxon parliamentary group of the DIE LINKE party , Rico Gebhardt . From 2017 she worked as press spokeswoman for Gregor Gysi . In September 2019, she moved into the Saxon state parliament as a member of the state list of the DIE LINKE party. There she is deputy group leader and works on the topics of Europe, sport, daycare.

Between 2014 and 2019 Marika Tellers-Walenta was a member of the city council in Roßwein .
