criticism

In April 2008 she hit the headlines when she indirectly equated the Dalai Lama with the Iranian revolutionary leader Ayatollah Khomeini in a current hour of the Hamburg citizenship about the Tibet conflict : “In the last few decades, global society has not had any good experiences with religious leaders, who have pushed themselves into politics as representatives of social opposition. For example, I remember Khomeini. ” Therefore, you do not share the “ lack of preconditions with which the GAL is demanding solidarity with Tibet ” .

In the early state elections in Hamburg in 2011, Christiane Schneider ran for third place on the state list of the party Die Linke. In a report on the election, the political magazine Report Mainz accuses Christiane Schneider of an uncritical relationship with left-wing extremist violence.
