Charlton Athletic and Loan Centers

Lisbie made his debut for Charlton Athletic during the 1996/97 second division season and made 25 appearances. In the following season , in which he was able to celebrate promotion with Charlton, he was used 17 times. In his first Premier League season in 1998/99 Lisbie made his debut on matchday 20 in a game against Arsenal , when he came on in the 67th minute for Keith Jones . In order to collect match practice, he was awarded to Gillingham FC , where he knew how to convince with 4 goals. Nevertheless, he was no longer used after his return until the end of the season and was awarded again, this time to Reading FC . During the 2000/01 season he got his chance as a substitute a few times, but could not use it. On December 1, 2000, he signed a loan deal with the Queens Park Rangers and came there in a month to two missions without having scored a goal.

On the 3rd day of the 2001/02 season he scored the winning 1-0 against Ipswich Town in the 85th minute and almost 24 minutes after being substituted on, at the same time it was Lisbie's first goal for Charlton Athletic. He scored another “Joker goal” against Chelsea in the 89th minute, and this game also brought his team a 1-0 win. As a reward for his performance, he was equal and for the first time in the starting line-up on the following day, and Lisbie continued his run here as well: He scored twice against Tottenham Hotspur , Charlton won the game 3-1. From now on he was used more regularly, only towards the end of the season he was given more joker role again. As a substitute in the 66th minute, he scored on the penultimate matchday to equalize 2-2 in the 82nd minute against AFC Sunderland and saved a point with his goal for his team.

Lisbie finally established himself as a regular player in the following season , where he also scored four goals on a template. His most memorable game for Charlton was a 3-2 win over Liverpool in 2003/04 , with Lisbie scoring all three goals. In June 2004, just before the start of the 2004/05 season , Lisbie signed a three-year contract and then scored against Bolton Wanderers on matchday one , but the game was lost 4-1. As the season Lisbie began to nosebleeds to suffer that a little later than a benign tumor should turn out in his nose. Due to this injury, he was out for a long time and ultimately made 17 league appearances.

Because of his injury, Lisbie had to sit out many times in the 2005/06 season and came to short appearances when he could play. From September 1, 2005, Lisbie played on loan for a month at Norwich City . In the 2006/07 season Lisbie was again briefly on loan from Derby County ; at Charlton he came, also due to a three-month shoulder injury, hardly any more missions and therefore left the club after the end of the season.

Colchester United

In August 2007 Lisbie moved to the championship at Colchester United , where he scored 17 goals straight away and was the club's top scorer. It is worth mentioning a double against his old employer Charlton Athletic, which Colchester won 2-1. But Lisbie's goals could not prevent the relegation of Colchester, the club had to accept relegation to Football League One as the last place .

The club management of Colchester United tried after relegation Lisbie's move to rival Ipswich Town, who wanted to sign him, to prevent and offered him a new contract, but could not avert the change. Lisbie's move to Ipswich Town was made for a sum of £ 600,000. The three-year contract was signed in July 2008.

Ipswich Town

Lisbie started the new season strongly in Ipswich, scoring a goal in each of the first two matchdays. On matchday 13 he met in a 3-1 win against Plymouth Argyle once and prepared another goal. Against Coventry City , he scored both goals in a draw that ended 2-2. As a template he shone on matchday 29 against Barnsley FC , where he prepared two goals that gave his team a 2-1 victory. He delivered two more templates on the penultimate matchday against Norwich City, Ipswich Town won the game 3-2.

Loan to Colchester United

In August 2009 Lisbie signed another contract with Colchester United, this time on loan. On the first day of the League One 2009/10 season, he got off to a brilliant start with two goals and an assist. The game ended clearly 7-1 for Colchester, Norwich City was the opponent who lost. On the 3rd matchday he continued his strong performance by preparing a goal against Gillingham FC, only to score the winning goal in the 66th minute to make it 2-1. In the 2-0 win against Hartlepool United , Lisbie scored both goals from penalties. Lisbie then set the end of a strong season on the last match day against his future employer Leyton Orient , when he converted a penalty in the 91st minute and his team won the game 1-0. With 13 goals Lisbie was again the top scorer of his team, and he also had six assists.

Millwall FC

For the championship season 2010/11 Lisbie moved on loan to Millwall FC , where he delivered two assists in a 3-0 win on matchday 1 against Bristol City . Due to an injury, however, he was also often out, and he made 19 appearances in total, in which he was able to score four goals and five assists.

Leyton Orient

After his involvement with Millwall FC he did not return to Ipswich Town and moved to Leyton Orient. In the 2011/12 season Lisbie had to fight relegation with Leyton Orient, Lisbie contributed with 12 goals to ensure that relegation could be ensured.

The following season should go much better, also for Lisbie. This time he scored 16 goals this season, a rate that, despite his 35 years of age, he was able to repeat in the next season . On the last day of the season he scored two goals in a 3-1 win over MK Dons and prepared another goal. The reward for his and his team's performance was third place at the end of the season, which meant participation in the play-offs, where they then failed in the final against Rotherham United .

The 2014/15 season missed Lisbie due to a shoulder injury for the most part, and after his recovery he could not hold its own against its competitors. On March 17, 2015, he was awarded for a month to the fourth division FC Stevenage , where he came to three missions, in each of which he played through.

Barnet FC

With no prospects for Leyton Orient, Lisbie signed a contract with FC Barnet at the age of 37 on May 29, 2015 .

Lisbie played ten times for Jamaica between 2002 and 2004 . He made his debut in a 5-0 loss to the United States . In friendly games against Australia and El Salvador , he scored once each.
