License plates (St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha)

As a British overseas territory , St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha have their own license plates . The equal parts of the overseas territory of St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha , i.e. St. Helena , Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, assign slightly different marks.

St. Helena

Crown on the governor's license plate

The identification of the island is white with black writing for the front plate and yellow with black writing for the back. They only carry - up to four - numbers (e.g. 1234), government vehicles also have the prefix SHG ( English St. Helena Government ; e.g. SHG 1234). The governor's vehicle shows a crown on a white background.

Ascension

The license plates on Ascension are the same as on St. Helena, but with the letter A in front .

Tristan da Cunha

Signs on Tristan da Cunha have the prefix TDC or TDC , up to three numbers and black letters on the front and back on a white or yellow background or white letters on a black background. They also bear the signature "Remotest Inhabited Island in the World" (in German most  remote inhabited island on earth ).
