License plate (Ghana)
Ghanaian license plates are white with black lettering. Commercial vehicle license plates have a yellow background.
construction
Until 2008, the Ghanaian vehicle registration number consisted of an abbreviation for the region , a number up to four digits and a letter that identified the year of registration.
From 2009 the letter for the year of registration is missing. It was replaced by a hyphen and a two-digit number indicating the last two digits of the year of registration, e.g. B. GR 3262 - 10 (approved in 2010).
At the top right is the national flag of Ghana and below it the national symbol GH .
Diplomatic license plates have a red background, white text and the letters CD .
