Klaus Heidenreich (born August 3, 1984 in Hanover ) is a German jazz trombonist who has been a member of the NDR Bigband since 2008 .

Live and act

Heidenreich had been taking trombone lessons in Celle since 1995 and won several prizes at “ Jugend musiziert ” and “ Jugend jazzt ” during his school days . From 2002 to 2006 he was part of the Bujazzo and received lessons from Nils Wogram as a young student in Hanover . Between 2005 and 2010 he studied jazz trombone at the Cologne University of Music with Henning Berg . Together with other musicians from Cologne's jazz scene, he founded the jazz band Hornstrom , with which he won the New Generation competition in Straubing in 2007 . Since 2009 he has performed with the Klaus Heidenreich Quartet , to which Sebastian Sternal , Robert Landfermann and Jonas Burgwinkel belong. He also belongs to Oliver Leichts [eight]. In 2013 he went on tour with the octet Big Jazz Thing .

Since 2012 he has also been a lecturer for trombone at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media .
