Klaus Lenzke (born August 12, 1949 - August 28, 2002 ) was a German soccer player .

Career

Klaus Lenzke, who came from his own youth, played for Bayer 05 Uerdingen since 1967 . After promotion to the West Regional Football League in 1971 , he completed the first year of the team from the Grotenburg Stadium in 1971/72, twelve league games in what was then the second division. The team of coach Klaus Quinkert finished seventh.

After finishing third in 1972/73, Bayer narrowly missed qualifying for the Bundesliga in the last year before the introduction of the 2nd Bundesliga , in 1973/74, again with third place ; it was third with 51:17 points behind Wattenscheid 09 and Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . Lenzke had played 18 games and scored one goal. With teammates like goalkeeper Manfred Kroke , the defensive players Norbert Brinkmann , Paul Hahn and Edmund Stieber , midfielders like Wolfgang Lüttges , Friedhelm Funkel and Hans Sondermann , as well as the attackers Peter Falter , Manfred Burgsmüller and Ludwig Lurz , the all-rounder Lenzke had 18 regional league games (1 goal) Completed when reaching 32: 2 home points.
