Klecken ( Low German Klecken ) is a place in the Lower Saxony community of Rosengarten in the Harburg district .
geography
Klecken is located 5 km north of Buchholz and 25 km south of Hamburg on the edge of the Harburg Mountains and the Lüneburg Heath .
The districts of Hainbuch, Tekenbarg and Am Walde also belong to the village of Klecken.
The area of Klecken is located in the Rosengarten Regional Park .
Neighboring places
Klecken borders in the south and west on the Rosengarten district Eckel (Neu Eckel) and in the north and east on the districts Lindhorst , Hittfeld and Helmstorf of the Seevetal community . In the southeast, Klecken borders the Harmstorf community .
history
Klecken originally consisted of the two communities Groß Klecken and Klein Klecken , which were merged into one community Klecken in 1928/29. On July 1, 1972, Klecken was incorporated into the municipality of Nenndorf. The name of this municipality was officially changed to Rosengarten on July 18, 1973 .

Infrastructure
The village of Klecken has its own parish, a voluntary fire brigade, a primary school, two guest houses (Pension Schmidt since 1979, Pension Hainbuch), a hotel (Zur Linde), a shooting club, the two sports clubs SC Klecken, founded on July 15, 1958 , and FC Rosengarten, founded in 2012, and a tennis club.
Local supply
There is a supermarket opposite Klecken train station. Two bakeries and a post shop offer additional shopping opportunities.
Fuels and Energy
A TankTreff offers all kinds of fuels . Anyone who owns an electric car can charge their car at the commuter parking lot .
In the east of Klecken, farmer J. Becker produces ecologically energy in a biogas plant . This is used to feed electricity into the global grid and to supply some Klecker households with heat. A strawberry greenhouse next door is also heated by the system.
traffic
There is a stop in Klecken that is part of the Hamburg-Bremen railway line . The RB 41 , which is operated by the railway company Metronom , stops there every hour. In rush hour traffic there is a 30-minute cycle. From the train station there is a daily two-hour bus line 4244 of the Hamburger Verkehrsverbund , which connects with the neighboring village of Eckel and most of the villages in the Rosengarten community (Harburg district) . The main town of the municipality, Nenndorf (rose garden) is also connected. The bus line goes to Hamburg-Harburg .
The A1 federal motorway runs along the northern edge of Klecken .
