Konstantin Schad (born July 25, 1987 in Rosenheim ) is a German snowboarder who mainly specializes in snowboard cross . but also competes in the parallel giant slalom and parallel slalom.

Konstantin Schad is a professional snowboarder. He starts for SC Miesbach and has been a member of Germany's national snowboard team since 2004. In 2002 he competed in his first international junior race, in 2003 his first FIS race. At the end of 2003 he contested his first European Cup race in the parallel giant slalom in Berchtesgaden and was 71st. At the beginning of 2004, the first race in the Snowboard Cross European Cup followed in Bad Gastein , where he was 45th. At the Junior World Championships in 2005 in Zermatt , he was 45 in snowboard cross. In early 2006, he won an FIS race for the first time in Tale . In Vivaldi Park he was tenth of the Junior World Championships in 2006. In 2007, Schad took part in the World Championships for the first time in Arosa and finished 42nd. A little later he contested his first World Cup race in Furano and was 41st. In 2007 he took part in the junior competitions for the last time. On December 8, 2013, Konstantin Schad and his national team colleague Paul Berg won the team event at the FIS World Cup opener in Schruns and thus achieved his second World Cup victory. He won the bronze medal at the Winter X Games 2014 in Aspen shortly before the Olympic Games in Sochi . At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, he reached 13th place in snowboard cross. At the beginning of the 2014/15 season, he won two European Cups. At the 2015 Snowboard World Championships on Kreischberg , he finished 19th. His best placement of the season in the World Cup was tenth place in Veysonnaz . In the 2015/16 season he made eight appearances in the World Cup, twice in the top ten and at the end of the season he finished 12th in the Snowboard Cross World Cup. He won the bronze medal at the Winter X Games 2016 .
