At the XXI. 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver found six competitions in snowboarding instead. All competitions took place in the Cypress Mountain winter sports area , which is located above the city of West Vancouver in the North Shore Mountains and about thirty minutes by car from downtown Vancouver.
