Konstantin von Notz
Konstantin von Notz (born January 21, 1971 in Mölln ) is a German lawyer and politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). He has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2009 .
biography
Konstantin von Notz, a son of the cultural politician Friedhelm von Notz and great-grandson of the officer Ferdinand von Notz , grew up in Hamburg and Frankfurt am Main , where he attended the Freiherr-vom-Stein-Schule from 1981 to 1991 and passed his Abitur there in 1991. From 1991 to 1992 he did his community service in the station mission at Frankfurt Central Station.
He studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg from 1993 to 1998 and passed the first state examination there in 1998 . From 2001 to 2004 he was a trainee lawyer at the Lübeck Regional Court . In 2004 he passed the second state examination. He was in Heidelberg with a dissertation on 2002 life duties in the Protestant church law to Dr. jur. PhD. He was a lawyer in Mölln until he moved into the Bundestag .
Von Notz has been an elected member of the German Bundestag since 2009 . In the 17th electoral term, he was a member of the Bundestag interior committee as domestic and network policy spokesman for the Green parliamentary group and was a member of the parliamentary group of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen on the Internet and Digital Society commission . He was a deputy member of the Legal Committee and the New Media subcommittee and represented the Green parliamentary group in the committee pursuant to Section 23c (8) of the Customs Investigation Service Act and in the IuK Commission, a sub-commission of the Council of Elders of the German Bundestag , which deals with issues relating to the IT equipment of Parliament and the Deputies busy. In the 18th electoral term, Konstantin von Notz was elected deputy chairman of the green parliamentary group and spokesman for network policy. As the coordinator of Working Group III, he coordinated the internal, legal, judicial, refugee and consumer protection as well as the parliamentary group's religious, sport and network policy. He was again a full member of the Bundestag interior committee and chairman of the NSA committee of inquiry and the digital agenda committee . He was also a deputy member of the Legal and Consumer Protection Committee and the Electoral Committee. In the 19th electoral term, Konstantin von Notz was re-elected as deputy group leader. In addition, Konstantin von Notz is the representative for religion and world views of his group. He is a full member of the Interior Committee, since 2018 a full member and deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Control Committee (PKGr) as well as a deputy member of the parliamentary committee of inquiry into Berlin's Breitscheidplatz / Amri and of the joint committee of the Bundesrat and Bundestag under Article 53a of the Basic Law. He also represents the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group in the “IuK Commission”, a sub-commission of the Council of Elders, which is responsible, among other things, for the IT equipment of the parliament's offices.
In February 2013 he took over a sponsorship for the Cuban dissident Antonio Rodiles as part of the program "Parliamentarians protect parliamentarians" of the Bundestag Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid .
Von Notz is married, has two children and is a devout Protestant . His brother Börries is also a lawyer and was managing director of the Jewish Museum Berlin from 2008 to 2013 and has been a board member of the Hamburg Historical Museums Foundation since February 2014 .
Political party
Since 1995 it belongs to the party Alliance 90 / The Greens first in Heidelberg and since 2004 the district association Lauenburg on. He has represented her on the Mölln City Council since 2004 and has been Deputy Mayor since June 2013. From 2005 to 2017 Konstantin von Notz was a member of the party council of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen in Schleswig-Holstein. In 2009 he was elected to the 17th German Bundestag . In 2013 and 2017, it moved into second place in the Schleswig-Holstein state list in the German Bundestag. Konstantin von Notz is a member of the Alliance 90 / The Greens application committee. He is also a member of the General Assembly of the Heinrich Böll Foundation .
