Primera División de Costa Rica 1928
The 1928 season was the 8th season of the Primera División de Costa Rica , the highest Costa Rican soccer league. Five teams took part. Alajuela won the first championship title in the club's history.
Competition mode
- The five participating teams played the championship in a single round (return leg) in the mode everyone against everyone .
- CS La Libertad withdrew after only one game that was not counted in the table.

Copa Argentor 1928/29
The Copa Argentor was played after the season from December 1928 to January 1929. LD Alajuelense played 1-1 against Orión in the final and won the play-off 3-1.
