Primera División de Costa Rica 1964

The 1964 season was the 45th season of the Primera División de Costa Rica , the highest Costa Rican soccer league. Nine teams took part. Saprissa won the championship for the fifth time in the club's history.

Competition mode

• The nine participating teams played the championship in a double round (home and away games) in the mode everyone against everyone .
• There was no relegation, as the Primera División was increased by one team every year for the 1965 season.
