Primera División de Costa Rica 1941
The 1941 season was the 21st season of the Primera División de Costa Rica , the highest Costa Rican soccer league. Seven teams took part. Alajuela won the championship for the third time in the club's history.
Competition mode
- The Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) was accepted into the league - without even being active once in the second or third division - through an association decision for which the Costa Rican president had spoken out. The team played under the name Universidad Nacional .
- The seven participating teams played the master in a single round (a game against every other team).
- The last placed should play a relegation game against the champions of the second division, but this did not happen (see below).

The relegation was ultimately not played, and Heredia stayed in the 1 ° División.
Cup competition
Trofeo Borsalino de la Federación Nacional de Fútbol
As in many previous editions, the cup competition was played before the start of the season, LD Alajuelense won the final 2-0 against CS La Libertad.
