The 1926 season was the 6th season of the Primera División de Costa Rica , the highest Costa Rican soccer league. Eight teams took part, but Independencia de Tibás was ruled out during the season. La Libertad defended its title, it was the 2nd in the club's history.

Competition mode

  • The eight participating teams played the championship in a single round (back and forth) in the mode everyone against everyone .
  • Independencia de Tibás was excluded in the course of the season, the matches already played were not counted.
  • CS Herediano presented itself in several games on the pitch, but did not play, these games were counted for the opponent.

Copa Camel 1926

The Copa Camel was played before the start of the season in spring 1926. After the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final, LD Alajuelense emerged as the winner.
