Crooked Lake
The Krumme Lake (not to be confused with Krumme Lanke , see Lanke [toponym] , or Krumme Laake ) is a river and the protected wetland between the districts of Grünau and Schmöckwitz in the Berlin district of Treptow-Köpenick .
The original tributary of the Dahme with the remains of an alluvial forest is a nature and water protection area .
Historically, the upper course of the Krummen Lake was a watercourse called Ochsenkopflaake, which flowed from the area of today's Schmöckwitz settlement (level crossing Waldstrasse, Pumpengraben) along the western settlement boundary of Karolinenhof to Dahme and with a side arm at Rehfeldstrasse in Karolinenhof, with the other corresponding to today's The course of the Krummen Lake continued to flow.
