Kurt Fischer-Fehling ; actually Kurt Reinhold Fischer (born December 16, 1904 in Bromberg ; † 1978 ) was a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

After training as a book printer, Kurt Fischer-Fehling gained his first stage experience at the summer theater in Liegnitz in 1923 . This was followed by positions at the city ​​theater in Zittau (1925 to 1927), the Reussian theater in Gera (1928 to 1930), the city ​​theater in Halberstadt (1930 to 1932), the city ​​theater in Lübeck (1932 to 1935), the city theaters in Breslau (1935 to 1936) and the Deutsches Theater in Berlin (1936 to 1940). In the war years 1941 to 1943, Fischer-Fehling was at the BerlinerLessingtheater and the Komödienhaus committed. After the end of the Second World War he had engagements at various Berlin theaters and in the 1954/1955 season a partial engagement at the Deutsche Schauspielhaus in Hamburg . There he played Gajew in Chekhov's tragic comedy The Cherry Orchard in 1955 . This was followed by activities at the city ​​theater in Bern (1957 to 1958), the municipal theaters in Münster (1959 to 1961), at the national theater in Mannheim (1961 to 1965) and the Basel theaters (comedy and city theater) (1965 to 1977). In 1968 he could be seen in Hans Hollmann's production of Ödön von Horváth's Kasimir und Karoline as district court director Speer .

From 1935 on, Kurt Fischer-Fehling also worked in film productions .
