geography
Labergement-du-Navois is 747 m above sea level, about 22 kilometers west-northwest of the city of Pontarlier (as the crow flies). The village extends in the Jura , on a plateau on the northern edge of the Levier plateau , east of the karst spring of the Lison .
The area of the former municipal area, which was 6.74 km² in size, comprised a section of the French Jura. Most of the area was occupied by a slightly undulating plateau on the northwestern edge of the Levier Plateau. It was at around 740 m and was partly covered by meadow and partly by forest. The entire area had no surface watercourses because the rainwater seeped into the karst subsoil. In the south, the communal soil extended into the extensive Forêt de Levier forest . To the north, the community area extended over an elongated ridge which, in geological and tectonic terms, forms an anticline of the Jura and is oriented towards the west-southwest-east-north-east in accordance with the direction of the low mountain range in this region. On the slope of the Fly , the highest point of Labergement-du-Navois was reached at 840 m.
Neighboring towns of Labergement-du-Navois are Déservillers and Bolandoz in the north, Levier in the east and south and Gevresin and Montmahoux in the west.
Attractions
The village church of Saint-Léonard , which originally dates back to the 15th century, was rebuilt in the 18th century; the bell tower dates from 1839. There is an arboretum on the outskirts .

In addition, there are now some local small businesses. Many workers are also commuters who work in the larger towns in the area.
The village is located off the major thoroughfares on the D473 departmental road, which leads from Besançon to Levier. Further road connections exist with Montmahoux and Gevresin.
