The State Garden Show Hof 1994 was the Bavarian State Garden Show in Hof .

The state horticultural show took place from April 29th to October 3rd, 1994 mainly on the area of the Theresienstein , a historical English landscape garden. As part of the preparations for the garden show, the park was redesigned to its original form as a public park and in the sense of a garden monument . The historic Thomas Pavilion, which is under monument protection, has been faithfully restored. The recent zoological garden courtyard has been redesigned and expanded with a reptile house. The adjoining botanical garden was newly laid out. A section of the park was designed with waste materials. There were also new play areas for children. The infrastructure to the park was significantly improved through footpaths to the city center and the creation of parking facilities on the adjacent main streets. Neighboring banks of the Saale were redesigned.

When designing the site as an exhibition area, the local textile industry, Hof's partner cities and local associations were involved. One of the competitions held as part of the announcement for the state horticultural show dealt with the design of park benches , another with new forms of gravestones. In the hall shows, porcelain and grass , bamboo and thanksgiving were central themes.
