State government and city senate Zilk I

Provincial government and city senate Zilk I was the name for the Viennese provincial government and the Vienna city senate under the mayor and governor Helmut Zilk between 1984 and 1987. The provincial government Zilk I officiated from the resignation of Leopold Gratz and the inauguration of Helmut Zilk as mayor on September 10, 1984 to on the inauguration of the Zilk II government on December 9, 1987.

When Leopold Gratz withdrew, the long-standing city councilors Gertrude Fröhlich-Sandner and Peter Schieder also withdrew from the state government. Helmut Zilk was elected as the new mayor, and Helmut Braun and Ingrid Smejkal followed as city councilors .
