State government and city senate Jonas III

Provincial government and city senate Jonas III was the name for the Viennese provincial government and the Vienna city senate under the mayor and governor Franz Jonas between 1959 and 1964. The provincial government Jonas III was in office from the inauguration of the government on December 11, 1959 until the re-election of the provincial government Jonas IV on December 11 and 19, 1964. The Deputy Governors were appointed on December 15, 1959 by the Provincial Government of Vienna without ranking. After the death of Johann Riemer (SPÖ) on December 26, 1963, Hans Bock took over as the city councilor on January 17, 1964. On April 24, 1964, Karl Lakowitsch (ÖVP) also resigned from his position. Heinrich Drimmel (ÖVP) succeeded him as the executive city councilor and new deputy governor . Drimmel was sworn in as a city councilor on April 24th and elected Deputy Governor on April 28th by the state government. One last change came after the death of Franz Bauer (ÖVP) on June 6, 1964. Pius Michael Prutscher (ÖVP) took over his office on June 19, 1964 .
