On July 25, 2007, Jackson scored 47 points in the game against the Washington Mystics , equalizing Diana Taurasi's WNBA record . She was only the fifth player in the history of the league to score more than 40 points in a game. At the end of the season she was named MVP of the league for the second time. In addition to the honors as the best point collector and best rebounder in the league, she was also honored with the WNBA Defensive Player of the Year Award . WNBA 2010 she and her team became WNBA champions for the second time. In addition, she was honored for the third time this season as the MVP of the league and also as an MVP in the WNBA finals.
