Silent is a German feature film by director Mennan Yapo from 2004. The thriller reached around 50,000 cinema-goers.
action
Victor's parents were murdered right before his eyes when he was 9 years old. He then killed his parents' murderer three weeks later. Since then he has been working as a professional, silent contract killer for a good 30 years. However, on an assignment he lets Nina, his victim's girlfriend, live because he has fallen in love with her. When she wants to take her own life shortly after being questioned by the police, Victor rescues her and the two get closer. However, Nina soon realizes that she knows practically nothing about Victor. That's why she chases him one morning, not knowing he's about to do an assignment. Victor manages to get himself and Nina back to safety. From now on, however, Nina is being followed by the police. With an ambush in a cemetery, however, the two manage to shake off the police and leave together.
