Window Life of Jesus in Pont-Croix

The Life of Jesus window in the Catholic parish church of Notre-Dame-de-Roscudon in Pont-Croix , a French parish in the Finistère department in Brittany , was created at the end of the 15th century. The leaded glass window was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1862 as Monument historique .

The window in the choir is from an unknown workshop. The current state was created by combining the remains of several windows, so that the following scenes from the life of Jesus can be recognized: Annunciation , birth of Jesus , adoration of the shepherds , adoration of the kings and flight to Egypt . Two scenes presumably come from a Passion window: Jesus is scourged and Jesus is put on the crown of thorns .

At the bottom right, the founders, Alain de Rosmadec and Jeanne du Chastel, are shown kneeling with their namesake.
