Life of Saint Martin (Romillé)
The Life of Saint Martin window in the parish church of St Martin in Romillé , a French commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region , was created in 1555. The leaded glass window was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1906 as Monument historique .
The central window in the choir , donated by the Saint-Gilles family, comes from an unknown workshop. It shows scenes from the life of St. Martin , the patron saint of the church.
The church windows were damaged in a fire in 1923. In 1924 they were restored by the Desjardin workshop in Angers .
