The Lech barrage Rain is a barrage of the Lech between Augsburg and Marxheim and is located on river kilometer 6.1 in the area of the city of Rain in the Donau-Ries district .
The operator of the run- of -river power plant is Lechwerke AG , the generated output is 10.9 MW with a head of 8.1 m.
The power plant has been in operation since 1955 and is listed in the Federal Network Agency's power plant list as BNA1235.
The expansion flow of the power plant is 180 m³ / s, the standard energy 57,000 MWh per year.
