The men's 110-meter hurdles at the 1938 European Athletics Championships was held on September 4, 1938 in the Stade Olympique in the French capital, Paris .

The European champion was the Briton Don Finlay , who won ahead of the Swede Håkan Lidman . Bronze went to the Dutchman Reindest Brasser .

Record improvement

United KingdomUnited Kingdom Don Finlay improved the European Championship record in the run-up by four tenths of a second to 14.4 seconds and in the final by another tenth of a second to 14.3 seconds. With that, the new European champion set a new European record at the same time.
