The 110-meter hurdles of the men at the 1978 European Athletics Championships was from 1 to 3 September 1978 Stadium Evžena Rošického of Prague held.

European champion was Thomas Munkelt from the GDR. Second place went to Jan Pusty from Poland . Bronze went to Arto Bryggare from Finland .
