doping

There was a doping case in this competition. The Bulgarian athlete Elena Stoyanova, who originally finished fifth, was subsequently disqualified for violating the doping regulations and suspended for eighteen months. The athletes who were initially placed behind her in the final moved up one rank each. Mihaela Loghin, originally placed ninth, was denied three attempts due to Stojanowa's doping fraud, because Loghin was not placed among the top eight athletes after the pre-match and was therefore not approved for the final match with three more hits.

execution

With only twelve participants, there was no qualification, all athletes entered the final together.
