Awards

Linen go! is a children's and board game developed by Alex Randolph . It is a game of skill that simulates a boat race. The game, which was first published by Haba in 1996 , was awarded the special children's game prize in 1997 .

Game flow

A player can move his boat over the obstacle course given on the game board as long as a second player needs to wind a thread on a wooden bollard. Whose boat reaches the destination first wins.

The game can be played by two to four players aged six and over.

review

In 1997, Leinen Los was awarded the Spiel des Jahres jury's special prize for children's games . The jury justified the award as follows:

"OFF THE LINES! received the special children's game 1997. An unadulterated pleasure for small but also young at heart big game captains. "

Stephan Blüml judged for Reich der Spiele that linen lot was too controversial. Problems arise because only a few children understand the moves quickly. It would be too easy to discuss the rules of the game . On spiel.de the rules were rated as rather simple.
