The Lika-Senj County [ ˈliːka ˈsɛɲ ] (Croatian Ličko-senjska županija ) is a county in northwestern Croatia . It extends from the northern Adriatic in the west to the border with Bosnia-Herzegovina in the east. It includes the southern part of the Croatian coastal region (Croatian Hrvatsko Primorje ) around the city of Senj , the northern part of the island of Pag and the inland Lika landscape . It has an area of 5,350 km² and 50,927 inhabitants (2011 census). The administrative seat is in Gospić .
