middle Ages

In the 12./13. In the 19th century, the area is closely linked to the Ascanian dynasty, who drove the Slavs further east in the Wendekreuzzug. In the following time, Flemish settlers also settled in Lichterfelde. Researchers point the name to the location "clear field" . The place was first mentioned in a deed of gift from June 27, 1277 , in which Lichterfelde was named as ville Lichtervelde in the border description .
