Lidija Lukivna Semenyuk

Lidija Lukivna Semenjuk ( Ukrainian Лідія Луківна Семенюк , Russian Лидия Лукинична Семенюк ; born March 24, 1918 in Chernigov ; † December 20, 2001 ) was a Soviet - Ukrainian architect .

Life

After ten years of attending school in Chernigov, Semenyuk began studying architecture in 1935 - Faculty of the Kiev Building Institute . During the German-Soviet War she worked in the evacuated building organization in Biysk . In 1944 she returned to Kiev to continue her studies.

After completing her studies in 1947, Semenjuk worked at the Kiev construction project planning institute Kiewski oblprojekt (1955 Oblgorselstroiprojekt , 1967 Ukrgorstroiprojekt , 1971 UkrNDIPgraschdanselstroi ), where she became chief project architect and finally head of the architecture workshop. She carried out many projects as a member of the respective authors' collective . Since 1951 she was a member of the Union of Architects of the USSR .
