Lissy Pernthaler (born May 5, 1983 in Bozen , South Tyrol ) is an Italian actress , author and performance artist .

Life

education

Lissy Pernthaler grew up in Kaltern am See as the oldest of three children. At the age of 12 she played her first theater role with the United Theaters of Bozen (VBB). In parallel to her school education up to high school, she played in Bolzano at the Cabaret Piccolo Teatro Carambolage. She studied at the Charlottenburg Acting School in Berlin . From 2010 to 2014 she studied European Media Studies (EMW) at the University of Potsdam , among others with Dieter Mersch, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts . Parallel to her studies, she completed yoga training to become a Kundalini yoga teacher in Munich , Berlin , Hamburg and Vienna .

Lissy Pernthaler has been working as a freelance actress since 2006.

In 2009 she founded the “Kreaturen Verbund” in Berlin with the actor, director and author Can Fischer , which she led with him until 2013, and numerous contemporary theater productions were performed. In 2010, the Kreaturen Verbund was nominated for “Germany's Creative and Cultural Pilots”.

In 2014 she took on the role of the secretary in Oliver Hirschbiegel's film Elser - He would have changed the world , for which she was praised by the press.

In 2015 she played the role of the Russian soldier Ludmilla in the literary film adaptation " Maikäfer flieg! " Based on the novel by Christine Nöstlinger and directed by Miriam Unger .

Performance art

From 2007 she regularly performed solo and group performances under her performance label Flower Thrower Performances . In the beginning she still worked with actors, dancers and performers whom she staged, but from 2011 she got more and more away from it and since then has been creating so-called "performative action spaces" in which the visitor becomes a performer himself.

Author

Lissy Pernthaler has been writing poems and short stories since 1999. In 2002 she won the literary competition of the Südtiroler Sparkasse Foundation and the South Tyrolean Authors' Association in the poetry category for the first time. In the biennial award, she won each time in at least one category up to the end of the age limit in 2010: poetry, prose or scenic texts.

In 2009 she was a scholarship holder of the Hermann Sudermann Foundation in Berlin. In the same year, her first volume of short stories, “Laurel and Lemon”, was published by Sakrabaeus Verlag Innsbruck . In 2013 her e-book “Die Intelligence des Plankton” was published by KDP Select, Amazon's online publishing service. In 2011 she was nominated together with actor, director and author Can Fischer at the Bolzano Author Days with her play “Volksmund”. In 2013, she was among the three finalists in the same competition and developed her first full-length play “Gezeiten” in the authors' workshop under the direction of the Austrian playwright Andreas Jungwirth .
