List of architectural monuments in the Bochum-Süd district
The list of monuments in the district of Bochum-Süd contains the listed buildings in the area of the district of Bochum-Süd in North Rhine-Westphalia . These architectural monuments are entered in the monuments list of the city of Bochum; The basis for the admission is the Monument Protection Act North Rhine-Westphalia (DSchG NRW).
The district of Bochum-Süd includes the districts of Brenschede , Ehrenfeld , Brockhausen , Haar , Hustadt , Querenburg , Schrick , Steinkuhl , Stiepel and Wiemelhausen .
Architectural monuments are "monuments that consist of structures or parts of structures".
List of architectural monuments
The list includes a photograph of the monument, if available, the name as a description, otherwise the type of building, the address, a brief description, if known, the construction time, the date of protection and the registration number of the lower monument authority of the city of Bochum. The name corresponds to the designation by the monument authority of the city of Bochum. Abbreviations have been resolved for better understanding, the typography has been adapted to that used in Wikipedia and typos have been corrected.
The list of monuments of the city of Bochum includes 69 architectural monuments in the Bochum-Süd district, including 23 residential houses or settlements, 13 grave or small monuments, ten agricultural buildings, nine industrial plants, six public buildings, three sacred buildings, two commercial buildings and a transport system, a noble residence and a Graveyard. In addition, the Protestant church and the Stiepel cemetery as well as the Klosterbusch quarry are inscribed in the list of monuments, and the Johanna steamroller as a movable monument.
