1901 Construction of the parsonage “St. Benediktus ”, architect Wilhelm Sültenfuß. On the building is a sculpture of Benedict of Nursia , the saint of the Neuss Benedictine nuns . Around 1744, the parents of the Düsseldorf court chamber council Pool had acquired the Wetzel Hof (today Küppers Bierstuben). The pool, who died childless in 1787, had determined in a will a foundation with which the vicariate was created. The Wetzel Hof, mentioned in a document as early as 1578, is one of the oldest buildings in the city of Düsseldorf. Formerly an agricultural estate, the farm became a restaurant about 100 years ago.
