more pictures	Elisabeth House (Elisabeth von Buttlar House)	Old Highway 161 map	In the "Elisabeth-von-Buttlar-Haus", which is located behind the Elisabeth Alte Landstrasse 159, there is now a training center for health professions (disabled aid institute for advanced and advanced training) of the Kaiserswerther Diakonie. In September 1911, the inauguration of the new building (architect Fritz Niebel) of the Kaiserswerther women's school, which was founded in 1904 with eight students in a parsonage that had become vacant as a "household boarding school". Educated young girls were prepared for their future careers as housewives and mothers. During the First World War, a hospital was set up in the women's school. In 1935 the building was named after the then head of the Kaiserswerth mother house, Sisters Elisabeth von Buttlar. After 1947 a lung clinic was built here, which remained in the building until 1990. 	Crown Prince Monument	Old Highway 179 map	The crown prince monument by the sculptor Paul Disselhoff on the grounds of the Kaiserswerther Diakonie commemorates the visit of the future emperor Friedrich III. as Crown Prince on September 11th, 1884 and shows him with the 4-year-old children's hospital patient Wilhelm Kroll in his arms.	1884	Dec 14, 1995	A 1373

	Sophie-Wienring-Haus (head office)	Old highway 179b map	The current headquarters of the Kaiserswerther Diakonie was built in the center of the new Diakonie site as a separate administration building according to the plans of the architect Fritz Niebel. The administration housed the bookkeeping with a cash register, mailrooms, a meeting room and apartments for two office nurses. In February 2004 the head office was given the name “Sophie-Wiering-Haus”. Johanne Sophie Dorothee Wiering (1780–1853), a friend of Friederike Fliedner, gave a loan in 1836 to buy the first house on Kaiserswerther Markt.	1910	June 13, 1995	A 1356
more pictures	Fronberghaus	Old highway 179c map	In 1883 the orphanage for girls was inaugurated as the first building on the Fronberg. The orphanage also served as a primary school and from around 1900 also as a middle school. After the First World War it got the function of a war orphanage, in which only the first grade school remained. The constant influx of needy children made further extensions necessary. In the north of the house, a new building with classrooms and a hall was built after the Second World War, and the Fronberghaus served as a nursing home. 	Residential buildings	Friedrich-von-Spee-Strasse 20, 22 map	Since 1918 there was a "war orphanage" in Kaiserswerth, which was moved in 1926 to the house in Friedrich-von-Spee-Straße. The building from 1792, a former silk factory, was converted into a home for 60 to 70 children with limited resources. The Barbarossaheim and the Barbarossaschule were housed there.
