former city building Court of Honor 3 This building belonged to the ensemble of the art exhibition building (exhibition palace, later art palace) in which in 1902 the art exhibition restaurant for the industrial and commercial exhibition in Düsseldorf was located. The art palace and restaurant were built from 1900 to 1902 by the Philipp Holzmann company from Frankfurt am Main. Eugen Rückgauer was the executing architect. In the address book of 1905, the restaurant of the Kunstpalast, property of the city of Düsseldorf, in Inselstraße was listed without a number. Since 1937 location of the Düsseldorf city archive with the Dumont-Lindemann archive from 1947 to 1972. The former municipal building has been the seat of the E.ON Academy since the public-private partnership between the Museum Kunstpalast and E.ON AG in 2002. In 2003 to 2004 it was gutted together with the neighboring building in Scheibenstrasse 63 and the historical elements inside that had been built up until then were exposed again. 1900-1901 Feb. 28, 1985 A 859

Disk Road 63 The building with a neo-baroque facade, built at the end of the 19th century by the master bricklayer and contractor Hermann Lammerz, was gutted together with the Ehrenhof 3 building from 2003 to the beginning of 2004 and converted into the E.ON AG Academy. The historical elements, such as the former carriage passage, where the entrance to the building is located, have been exposed and reconstructed.
