Monument protection B-4 The building was erected at the previous position of the place when it was founded in 1734. It is the oldest surviving wooden house and the first storey house in Greenland and the only one that was built in Norwegian construction, as the shape of the wooden stand shows. Although Qasigiannguit was moved to its current location in 1763, the building was not moved to its current location until 1804. The building initially served as the home of the trade employees, later as a shop and since 1984 the Qasigiannguit Museum has been housed in it. 1734 November 2, 1998 [1]

Monument protection B-67 The church was designed by Helge Bojsen-Møller and built by the Copenhagen carpenter P. Vedsted in 1913. It has a unique shape, because of which it is nicknamed Vorres Blækhus ( German  Herrgotts inkwell ). The central part of the building consists of a regular octagon , which is covered by a pointed gable roof . On both sides of the eaves there is another extension with a hip roof , with the hip on the choir side extending well above the height of the eaves. In the entrance area there is again a small vestibule with a saddle roof, while a monitor with a saddle roof serves as a church tower in the center. The building is in Swedish red, typical for Greenland , with white lattice windows . The verge undersides are gold and the doors are blue, while the roofs are covered with shingles . The church was expanded in 1975 by the architect Ole Nielsen (1923-2000). In the course of this, the church tower was taken out of service. 1913 November 2, 1998 Qeqertarsuaq church 2016.jpg [26]

B-2 The building serves as the home for the head of the Arctic Station. 1948 - [30]
B-3 The building is the assistant's apartment at the Arctic Station. 1948 - [31]
B-4 The building was erected in 1913 and was the meeting room of the North Greenland State Council . The last meeting in Qeqertarsuaq fans was held in 1947. It was then used as a printing press and school building. The building has a side wing, which is rather unusual for Greenland. 1913 - [32]
B-5 The home of the North Greenland inspector or later governor is a one-storey house built around 1840. It was expanded in 1850. During a renovation phase in the early 1970s, extensions were removed. Today it serves as a museum building. The house of the highest official of the former colony stands on a natural stone base and has two chimneys on its shingled roof. It has shutters and an eye-catching console construction in the entrance area. On the west side there is a balcony with a staircase leading down. To the west there are two outbuildings, which are also part of B-5 and were built as clad half-timbered buildings. A carefully crafted bridge called Kongebroen ( German  The King's Bridge ) leads from the house to the water. Their beginning is marked by a whale gate. 1840 - [33]
B-6 The Geophysical Laboratory from 1927 stands out for its large dwelling . 1927 - [34]
B-9 The building was partly built as a whaler's house in 1778. The multi-storey house was rebuilt in 1970, today has wood-clad facades and a roof made of felt and has been significantly enlarged since 1979 with the addition of newer buildings. It serves as a hospital. 1778 - [35]

B-12 The bakery was built in 1935 and expanded in 1967. 1935 - [37]
B-13 The head of trade was designed by Helge Bojsen-Møller . It is a conspicuous building with four slightly protruding bay windows on the right and left on the two long sides, each with two corner pilaster strips, so a total of eight on the whole building. Five dormers are located on the building and the entrance is a porch . 1923 - [38]
B-15 The shop was built in 1939, expanded in 1967 and a further extension was added in 1985. 1939 - [39]
B-16 The carpentry shop was built in 1902 and probably expanded later. The facades are covered with plywood . 1902 - [40]

B-69 The pastor's apartment is eye-catching and designed by Peter Anton Cortsen . The building has a staircase-like structure, many decorative details and an extension was later added. 1909 - [45]

B-86 The building is the home of the telegraph operator. It is characterized by its corner pilaster strips and eye-catching window frames. 1925 - [47]

Monument protection B-24 The colonial administrator's apartment was built in 1860 as the last of a series of multi-storey buildings. The construction goes back to drawings by an architect Kyhn. At the end of the 1920s, the building was expanded according to plans by Helge Bojsen-Møller . The dwarf house with its balcony was installed, which makes the building appear asymmetrical. B-26 The building was drawn by Johan Christopher Suhr and erected in Imerissoq in 1777 . In 1828 it was moved to Aasiaat. It served as the home of the whaling commander. B-36 The old team house was built in 1863 as a multi-storey building near the administrator's house and moved to its current position at the end of the 19th century.
