Country estate with old and new house, water tower, family funeral and three bronze sculptures | The country estate is located on the shores of Lake Deulowitz. In 1902 a half-timbered house was built, which was expanded in 1904. In 1906 a water tower was added. There are three bronze figures and the burial place of the Wilke family, the first owner, on the property. After the war, the country estate was used as a training center, among other things. From 1990 the Waldhotel Seehof was located here, which ceased operations at the end of 2008. |

It is a larger than man-sized, irregular granite stone with a commemorative plaque of irregular outline and the inscription "Our Heroes", including rank, surname, first name and date and place of death of the 19 fallen of the community. Under the table is an ivy wreath adorned with ribbons, the base has recently been clad with artificial stone and supplemented by a plaque “To commemorate the fallen of World War II from Groß-Gastrose”. It is a typical testimony to the culture of commemoration and remembrance of the Weimar Republic. | |

villa | The villa was built around 1890/1900 as the home of the Lehmann family of manufacturers in Guben in the immediate vicinity of the Mühlenhof. After the Second World War , it was first a police facility, then a school, and the necessary additional buildings in the courtyard. The first renovation measures took place in 1976. After 1990 the villa was used as a day care center. In 2004/05 the villa and the outdoor facilities were extensively renovated. It is a single-storey plastered building over a high basement and with a lofted mansard roof, street-side arbor with outside staircase, dwelling, attic house, southern extension, iron spiral staircase depending on the use. The inside of the villa has been radically changed, but historically and in terms of urban planning, its use as a school and after-school care center has been made into the consciousness of the population. |
