House Schönemann The Schönemann house was built between 1773 and 1775. The builder was Johann Christian Schönemann, a lieutenant in the Royal Regiment von Kleist and from 1769 mayor of Werder. Here was a bakery all along, later a grocery store. After a renovation from 1990 to 1993, there is a café here. It is a one-story house with a half-hip roof. The gable faces the market, the entrance is from Baderstrasse.
