List of commanders of the Air Force Officer School

This list of commanders of the Luftwaffe officers 'school lists the officers of the Bundeswehr Air Force who had been commanders of the Luftwaffe's officers' school since it was founded in 1956 . With the exception of the founding commander Colonel Rudolf Löytved-Hardegg, the incumbents hold the rank of brigadier general . The school was stationed at Faßberg (1956–1958) and Neubiberg (1958–1977), and since 1977 it has been based in Fürstenfeldbruck , where the school commander is also based.
