In the list of cultural monuments in Muldestausee , all cultural monuments of the municipality of Muldestausee (district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld) and its districts are listed. The basis is the monument register of the state of Saxony-Anhalt, which was created on the basis of the Monument Protection Act of October 21, 1991 by the State Office for Monument Preservation and Archeology of Saxony-Anhalt and has been continuously updated since then (as of December 31, 2017).

Youth Square (map)	church	The baroque church was built in 1722. It is the patronage church of the von Bodenhausen family . A west tower with a double onion hood belongs to the hall building. Inside is the almost completely preserved baroque interior. The ceiling is a hollow barrel with baroque paintings of a cloudy sky and 16 figures. Jugendplatz, corner of Schlaitzer Strasse (map)	War memorial	The large boulder with an inscription panel is intended to commemorate the fallen of the First and Second World Wars . Schlaitzer Strasse 14 (map)	lock	A moated castle stood here in the Middle Ages. In 1665 the castle was taken over by Bodo von Bodenhausen . Aueweg (map)	Tomb	The tomb is located on Steinberg in the forest behind the Muldenstein pipe works, hall 1, parcel 6/15. The tomb was moved to the Lutherlinde forest in 1903. Another relocation was necessary in 1907 because of track construction work. It is the hereditary burial of the Menzel family, the owners of the lignite works, a quarry, a steam brick and the manor near Muldenstein. The tomb consists of an enclosure with a gate and two tombstones.	094 96602	monument
Bitterfelder Strasse (map)	Celebration hall	The Feierhalee was built in the late 19th century. It is a building made of natural stone with a gable roof. There is a ridge turret on the gable roof. The windows have pointed arches, the door has large fittings.	094 96227	monument
Dorfplatz (map)	church	The church was built in 1899 in neo-Gothic style. The west tower has a square floor plan and has a pointed helmet. The interior is from the construction period, the Gothic altar is a valuable carving and was created in 1515.	094 06228	monument	More pictures
Dorfplatz 6 (map)	Inn	The restaurant "Zur Linde" was built in the 18th century, it is probably the oldest building in the town. It is a two-storey building with seven axes and a half-hip roof. The entrance to the house is in the middle, in front of it is an outside staircase.	094 96538	monument

Kraftwerkstrasse (map)	Transformer station	The transformer station is on the corner of Bahnhofstrasse. The station was built in 1915. It is a brick building with a square floor plan. The roof is a pyramid roof.	094 96540	monument
Kraftwerkstrasse (map)	Reichsbahnkraftwerk Muldenstein	The railway power station was built in 1912, it is located on the porphyry hill at the Mulde reservoir. It was the first and oldest railway power plant in Germany. In 1987 and 1990 some of the technical facilities were shut down. In 1994 the Muldenstein railway power station was finally taken offline. The demolition started in autumn 2007. The chimneys were blown up in 2011. At the site of the railway power plant there is now a solar power plant.	094 95183	monument

Dorfplatz (map)	War memorial	The war memorial commemorates those who died in the First World War. There is a pedestal with an inscription tablet on a stepped base. There is a sandstone ball on the pedestal.	094 96397	monument
Hauptstrasse 8 (map)	church	The village church from the Middle Ages was heavily modified in 1696. It is a field stone building with a retracted west tower. There is a sacristy on the south side of the church. Inside the ceiling is a wooden barrel, there are galleries on three sides. On the western gallery is the organ from 1783 with a baroque organ front. The organ builder was Zuberbier from Koethen. The pulpit altar dates from 1725 and is kept simple. There are early Gothic wall paintings on the north wall. There is a baroque tombstone in the churchyard.	094 96398	monument

Dorfplatz (map)	church	The church was built around 1200. The west tower stands across the church and has a hipped roof, on the hipped roof there is a ridge turret. On the nave there is a choir and a semicircular apse. The interior, which was renovated in 1997, has a wooden barrel as a ceiling and galleries on three sides. The western gallery is two-story with an organ. The late Gothic carved altar dates from 1520. The pulpit bears pictures of the evangelists and was created in the second half of the 17th century. Dorfplatz 2 (map)	farm	The farm is the oldest in the village, it was built around 1800. The farm was built from half-timbering, bricks and clay. The house has a ground floor with massive walls, there is a half-timbered structure. The roof is a hipped roof. The farm has an eaves stable on the road and a barn at the back.	094 96606	monument
Street of the Victims of Fascism (map)	memorial	The memorial was created in 1946. The memorial is located in a small park. The memorial stone consists of a two-tiered base on which there is a stele made of artificial stone. On an evacuation march, 68 unknown prisoners from the Buchenwald concentration camp were murdered and buried on the street. In the 1960s, the road was relocated, so it was necessary to move to the current location.	094 13761	monument

The house has five axes and the entrance is in the middle. There is a small flight of stairs in front of the entrance. The facade is cautiously decorated with ornaments. Friedersdorfer Strasse 1 (map)	church	The church (location: hall 1, parcel 58/3 and 87/3) is right next to the castle. It was built in the Romanesque period, from 1473 it was parish church and monastery church. From this year the church was rebuilt. The church was profaned in the 19th century . Inside there is a flat ceiling, galleries are on the north and west sides. Other furnishings in the church such as the altar, the baptism and the pulpit are from the late 17th century. Friedersdorfer Strasse 1 (map)	Castle Muldenstein manor	Muldenstein Castle (location: corridor 1, parcel 58/3 and 58/4) is a former monastery. Johann von Taubenstein converted the monastery into a manor. The manor was expanded by Heinrich von Gleisenthal in 1555. Jeßnitzer Strasse (map)	memorial	The memorial for Italian and Russian forced laborers was laid out in 1980. It is located on the site of the former manor park and was laid out like a cemetery. For this reason the memorial is also known as the “Old Cemetery”. The memorial commemorates deceased Italian and Russian slave laborers who worked in the former Junker works. Zur Lutherlinde (map)	factory	The former paper mill was built in 1905 and production began in 1907. In 1943 the factory was shut down, in 1944 the factory was taken over by the Junker works from Dessau. New Pouch 1,2 (card)	Rittergut Neu-Pouch	The manor was first mentioned in 891. In 1450 the castle was divided into old and new pouches. A medieval tower, the Red Tower, belongs to the manor. Dorfplatz 5 (map)	Inn	The restaurant was built around 1900, making it the younger of the two restaurants in town. The inn is located directly opposite the church and thus characterizes the place. The single-storey, eaves-standing house is part of a courtyard. The facade is divided into six axes, the two central axes form a two-storey risalit with a triangular gable in the roof. The entrance is on the left axis of the risalit. Art Nouveau elements can be found on the facade. The courtyard consists of a restaurant, hall and a commercial building.	094 96623	monument
Dorfplatz 15, Siedlerhof 2, 5-8 (map)	grange	The manor is also called "New Castle". The knightly estate and former Vorwerk has been owned by the Counts of Solms since the middle of the 16th century. The manor house was built in 1836, the previous building burned down. It is a two-story house with a hipped roof. The facade is divided with risalits. Thomas-Müntzer-Strasse, corner of August-Bebel-Strasse (map)	church	The stone church was built in 1799, while older parts of a previous building were included. To the west of the church is a roof turret with a lantern on a hood. An entrance hall was subsequently built here. There is a sacristy on the southern side. Inside there is a barrel vault, a pulpit altar, a Madonna figure and a crucifix from the 15th century.
