Location of the Syratal district in Plauen

The list of cultural monuments in Syratal includes the cultural monuments of the Plauen district of Syratal , which were recorded by the State Office for Monument Preservation of Saxony until November 2019 (excluding archaeological cultural monuments). The notes are to be observed.

This list is a subset of the list of cultural monuments in Plauen .

1872-1873 Landscape -defining railway structure on the Plauen – Cheb railway line (6270; see PE), of significance in terms of technology and transport history. After being blown up in 1945, rebuilt slightly differently between 1947 and 1949. Eleven arches, a stone arch bridge with a curved radius and a pillar template, harmoniously integrated into the surrounding landscape, length 210 m, height 33.9 m, width 8.0 m, height above sea level 395 m. 09246917

Marked with 1901 Designed by Carl Brandt for Paul Ehrhardt; Elaborate eclectic construction of architectural and local development significance. One to two-storey plastered building on a high base (green stone polygonal masonry), irregular floor plan, various side elevations with gables in the roof area (mansard base), polygonal corner tower with Welscher hood and lantern. Decor in the form of ornamental trusses on gable triangles, porphyry window frames or frames, wooden winter garden, both segmental arch and rectangular windows. Representative entrance with porphyry portal, front door with two wings and beautiful ornamental grille. Marked on the tower with "Villa Zadera built in 1902", letters with Art Nouveau influence. Around 1905 Elaborate late historic tenement house of architectural value. Three-storey plastered clinker brick building with corner accentuation through steep ornamental framework roof extensions and polygonal corner bay windows, three-storey, also with ornamental framework in the roof area and image-defining onion hood. Ground floor and half of the first floor with red clinker facing, above yellow plaster. Between the upper floors there is a belted cornice, over the windows of the second floor another red clinker strip following the window arches. Further structuring of the wall and the dissolution of the symmetry by means of a single-storey triangular bay window and a drawn-down decorative framework in one axis. Marked 1904 Stately building with neo-baroque influences, art nouveau applications, of architectural significance. Designed by Christian Scheidt and Vinzenz Koschinek for self-marketing. Three-storey plaster and clinker brick building, characterized by dominant pear-shaped gabled roof extensions and wide two-storey bay windows on a trapezoidal floor plan. Ground floor with plaster grooves and arched openings, above cornice. The upper floors with dark white clinker bricks, the windows on the first floor rectangular, on the second floor they are again curved. Wide eaves cornice, mansard roof with several segmental arches suspected of standing dormer windows and called pear gables. Around 1925 Architecture with the influence of the New Objectivity, valuable contemporary details, including architectural significance. Two-storey plastered building on a high stone base, with a flat, slightly protruding hipped roof, longitudinal rectangular floor plan, sovereign rhythm of the wall-opening ratio, various window sizes, some with ribbon window suggestion. Revitalization of the facade through small-scale window projections. Sandstone staircase with balustrade to the flat roofed entrance. Conventional forms of decoration are the corner pilasters of various sizes as well as the serrated eaves cornice, the pointed gable roof extensions are evidence of contemporary expressionism. Many details of the interior have been preserved, such as wood paneling, mosaic fireplace, sliding door, and stucco ceiling. The garage, the gatehouse and the wooden pavilion also show contemporary design, as does the authentically preserved country house garden with its design and modeling. The property represents the aspirations and horizons of a wealthy contemporary builder. 09246955

1904 Remarkable and picturesque neo-baroque plastered building, among other things of architectural historical importance. Designed by Curt Prager for Otto Tröger. Large two-storey plastered building on an irregular floor plan, with several extensions in the roof area. Elevation marked by a corner tower (Welsche hood with lantern), gabled risalites, surrounding balconies (with grilles and balustrades), semicircular roofed entrance with three-bay loggia, large outside staircase, several bay windows or arbors. Smooth plaster as well as stone cladding, partly bossed cuboids, use of columns, volutes and pilasters of various sizes. Area-wide rococo decorations and applications (shells, tendrils, window frames, etc.). In front of the house entrance there is a well with a heavily weathered relief. Historical furnishings mainly from the 1920s, partly also from the time of construction, paneled walls and built-in cupboards, on the first floor in the hallway a grooved stucco ceiling, on the second floor field ceiling with integrated lighting in every field, among other things 09246956

1904 The elaborate romantic late historic building, among other things of architectural historical importance, was designed by Alfred Illner for himself. Two-storey plastered building on a stone base, with a mansard roof. The floors are partially optically marked by a surrounding cornice. With several extensions, mainly as a three-storey risalit or oriel approaching rectangular tower with corner columns, spheres and balustrade as well as an oriental-looking, pointed dome, furthermore two inclined "kemenaten" with pyramid roofs and stepped gables with figure niche (empty), palladi motif and arched end, finally corner balcony with columns and balustrade; House entrance and ground floor windows are arched, sandstone window frames with earring and coat of arms keystones, window parapets in relief (cartouches, tendrils). Front door with two leaves and skylight, round-arched lead-glazed staircase window. The large windows are partly framed by red clinker bricks. 09246921

1901 Neo-renaissance building with good architectural lines, of importance in terms of building history and local development. The villa, a neo-renaissance building with good architectural lines, was built for August Sommer according to plans by Oscar Kessler. Two-storey plastered building with all-round half-timbered jamb and flat protruding hipped roof. Sandstone plinth, almost square plan. Palladian-style front side with a flat three-axis central projection, with a high, round-arched entrance, the outer axes on the first floor marked by window frames and triangular roofs raised with sandstone walls. Side defined by a large, arched staircase window, the other sides also with triangular roofing of the openings, but more irregular. The corners of the house and the risalites with plaster rustics. Old trees in the garden. Servant house in the back of the garden, with garages, plastered building with half-timbering, built a little later. 09246920

  • The monument quality of an object does not depend on its entry in this or the official list. Objects that are not listed can also be monuments.
  • Basically, the property of a monument extends to the substance and appearance as a whole, including the interior. Deviating applies if only parts are expressly protected (e.g. the facade).
