The list of cultural monuments in Meßbach contains the cultural monuments of the Plauen district of Meßbach , which were recorded by the State Office for Monument Preservation of Saxony until August 2019 (excluding archaeological cultural monuments). The notes are to be observed.

Around 1905 Clinker construction typical of the time, significance in terms of building history. One-storey, red brick on a plastered base, with jamb, dominant two-axis dwarf house with decorated empty chevrons, the windows with historicized cast stone shapes, horizontal window canopies, on the eaves side two suspected central windows with triangular gables, wooden porch with colored glass windows from the time of construction, two dormer windows with saddle roofs. 09246976

Before 1800 Rural relics of local historical value.
  • Barn: around 1900 extended and raised, core probably 18th century, a threshing floor, two bans, planking in threshing floor, partially half-timbered on the ground floor blocked out, flattened foot and head struts in this area, construction and room layout completely preserved, house boarded up, gable roof
  • Side building: timber-framed upper floor boarded up, ground floor massive, presumably with stable, tailcoat roof, remise and passage on the first floor

After 1800 Image-defining farm building typical of the landscape, probably from the early 19th century, of local historical value. Boarded two-storey half-timbered building with a saddle / half-hip roof, a threshing floor and two bananas, extended on the gable side. 09246973

Around 1850 Simple two-storey plastered building with a crooked roof, smoothed facade. Historically, the building is only significant as the residence and working place of the Vogtland dialect poet Louis Riedel , who was a teacher here from 1867 to 1910. 09246978

1927 Raised relief stone by the stonemason Kurt Schneider from Reinsdorf. A memorial stone with a triangular end, a cross, the years 1914 and 1918, a relief of a head in profile and an inscription with the names of the fallen are posted on the embankment at the exit towards Plauen. Marked 1733 Farm typical of the time and landscape, stable house with remnants of the surrounding area. Exemplary value through completeness, design language, originality and age value; great importance in terms of building history and local history.
  • Residential stable house: Ground floor solid quarry stone with gray plaster, stable and entrance door arched, next to the front door small barred, oval window with cleaning bottle, also around living room window cleaning bottles; inscription “1733” on the beam above the gate (also dendrochronologically confirmed). In the living room ceiling with profiled beams and insertion boards, a stand of the former surrounding structure has been preserved, protruding ceiling beams; the rare upper floor half-timbering with diamond corner compartments, profiled threshold, tenon wood connections. Stable with Prussian cap vault (late 19th century); Gable roof without extensions.
  • Side building: solid ground floor, upper floor accessible from the outside via stairs, horse and pig sty, timber-framed upper floor boarded up, flat pitched gable roof
  • Barn: one-storey, quarry stone base, strong threshold, half-timbering, gable roof, lengthened on the gable side, partly solid there, probably core also from the 18th century
  • Enclosure wall: with beaver tail cover, gate entrance with rubble stones and roofing
