The one-and-a-half-story building with a dominant gable roof and block construction is an early testimony to industrially manufactured houses in element construction. It is based on the idea of Classical Modernism, including buildings with the traditional building material wood, Ford's serial thinking. However, various bay windows and balconies, a small dormer window and leaded glass windows are picturesque. In 1999 there was a change of ownership, which resulted in thorough repair and renovation work. The basic structures as well as the equipment with wooden paneling, doors and built-in cupboards from the time of construction have been preserved.

Detailed memorial texts

  1. ^ Jößnitz village church :
the choir closes flat. The wooden baptism and an epitaph are particularly significant in terms of art history. The baptism of 1598 shows elaborate color versions and painted fields. The painter is Benedict Richter from Plauen (who also has a view of the city of Plauen). You can see the Holy Trinity, the creation of Adam, the baptism of Christ, the circumcision of Christ, the scene of the Mount of Olives, the baptism of the eunuch from the east, the passage through the Red Sea and the sermon of John the Baptist. The eight motifs are each headed with an explanatory Bible text and underline the importance of the baptismal sacrament for believers. The epitaph painting from the workshop of Lucas Cranach the Elder, painted on a curved wooden panel . Ä. shows the victorious knight St. George on horseback fighting the dragon in the upper part. In the lower part the donor family kneels in prayer. It is obvious to assume that the people were the owners of the Jößnitz manor. Also to be mentioned are the coats of arms of the von Reizenstein and Zedtwitz families, the stalls (probably 19th century) and, behind the altar, memorial plaques for those who fell in the Franco-German War and the First World War, as well as the hereditary burial of the von Watzdorf families (1560– 1811). Extensive repair and restoration work on the church took place in 1906, 1936, 1970 and in the period from 1998–2002. The Schubert organ built in 1871–74 was overhauled in 2000.
