The list of cultural monuments in Großfriesen includes the cultural monuments of the Plauen district of Großfriesen that were recorded by the State Office for Monument Preservation of Saxony until August 2019 (excluding archaeological cultural monuments). The notes are to be observed.

This list is a subset of the list of cultural monuments in Plauen .

Around 1900 Remarkable overall system, among other things of architectural, also of artistic (gate system) value.
  • Villa: two-storey red brick building on a stone base, belt cornice, window roofing on the first floor with triangular gables and segmental arches, corner blocks, profiled window frames with protruding sill, house entrance on the side with porch, mansard roof
  • Embroidery: next to the villa, single-storey red brick building with segmented arched windows, yellow brick as a decorative element, flat-pitched gable roof
  • Shed: two-storey barn-like red clinker building with yellow clinker corner pilasters, slightly stepping forward, large two-winged gate, compensating arches above windows of yellow clinker, flat-pitched gable roof
  • Elaborately designed wrought-iron fence with a magnificent gate system, fence fields decorated with stylized plant motifs, large double-winged gate, stone fence pillars on both sides with depictions of lions and dragons, gate each with a single-winged wrought iron gate, next to the gate two large old trees
  • Garden design no longer preserved, but open space is important for the effect of the house and the complex

1906 Old village school Großfriesen, built by Richard Weber in 1906 for the school community; representative late-historical building of architectural and local historical relevance. Two-storey red clinker brick building with ten axes, with suspected stucco windows on the first floor or clinker arches on the ground floor, the storeys visually separated by a circumferential cornice. With a dominant central risalit crowned by a steep pyramid roof with bell and weathercock, here the entrance with a colored overlay relief (band with "school" and branches), a curved crowned dome window with a building sculpture (reading children) on the first floor and arches over eaves with clock and obelisk. The two flanking axes are also three-story. Flat gable roof with four small standing dormers. 09246988

  • Villa: two-storey plastered building, curved mansard hipped roof, elaborate entrance design with plaster stucco decorations, double-leaf coffered front door with glass inserts and decorative grating, lead glass windows with stylized ornaments in the stairwell, window parapets with head representations, over the front door marked with 1908, slate plaster, slate wall with staircase Conservatory, above balcony with lattice balustrade, various uses as a private clinic, restaurant, retirement home, nurses' apartments, partly old trees in the garden, probably used as a park hotel in the 1920s
  • Garden: In the park-like garden there are stairs, former seating area with hornbeam hedges (fully grown), rhododendrons, large greenery including birch and beech

1931 Circular plant set from Theuma slate. Names of those who fell in World War I and the inscription “Dedicated to our fallen 1914 - 1918” carved into the stones. In the middle of the simple complex there is a water basin and stairs. On the wall protruding stones were inserted, which were used to hang wreaths. Originally the wall was planted. Remarks

  • The official list of cultural monuments is never closed. It is permanently changed through clarifications, new additions or deletions. A transfer of such changes to this list is not guaranteed at the moment.
  • The monument quality of an object does not depend on its entry in this or the official list. Objects that are not listed can also be monuments.
  • Basically, the property of a monument extends to the substance and appearance as a whole, including the interior. Deviating applies if only parts are expressly protected (e.g. the facade).
