List of snowboard world champions (ISF)

The list of snowboard world champions includes all medal winners at the snowboard world championships held four times between 1993 and 1999 by the ISF . At the same time, the FIS World Championships have been held since 1996 , but the world champions there are not included in this list, but instead are noted in the list of snowboarding world champions (FIS) .

A total of six different types of competitions were held at the ISF Snowboard World Championships. The slalom and the cross competition were only held once, in contrast to the giant slalom and halfpipe competition at all four world championships. The competition program was identical for the women and the men. Since many athletes started at the FIS World Championships in addition to the ISF World Championships in order to receive points for the FIS ranking, some athletes became world champions at both events. For example, the Swiss Anita Schwaller managed to become both FIS and ISF world champion in half-pipe competitions within two years, 1995 and 1997.
